ONE NIGHT. ONE CHANCE FOR A NEW LIFE. A NEW DAY WILL BEGIN.

This Boxing Day, a bold, original and imaginative motion picture interpretation of the beloved stage musical comes alive on the big screen. CATS brings together a stellar ensemble like no other— Dame Judi Dench, Sir Ian McKellen, Idris Elba, James Corden and Rebel Wilson star alongside musical talents Jennifer Hudson, Taylor Swift, Jason Derulo, with Royal Ballet principal dancer Francesca Hayward and a world-class cast of dancers.

From Oscar®-winning director Tom Hooper (Les Misérables, The King’s Speech) and under the guidance of Tony Award®-winning choreographer Andy Blankenbuehler (Hamilton), the film reimagines the musical for a new generation with spectacular production design, state-of-the-art technology, and a sparkling fusion of dance styles ranging from classical ballet to contemporary, hip-hop to jazz, street dance to tap.

Since opening in 1981, CATS has amazed, surprised and excited fans and critics alike. The stage musical inspired by the poems of T.S. Elliot, set to iconic music composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber, and performed by a ‘tribe’ of cats— the Jellicles, became an unforgettable, magical experience for more than 81 million people in over 50 countries and 19 languages. Winner of seven Tony Awards® including Best Musical, CATS became one of the longest running shows in West End and Broadway history.

Harmonic Resonators and The Nukes together for the first time.

This coming February 2020 sees the coming together of two classic kiwi groups. Ukulele trio ‘The Nukes’ have a very original approach, amazing audiences with the rich sounds they are able to achieve with the humble little ukulele. With over 10 years together and 3 albums worth of quality song-writing, they’ve developed a show which is always entertaining and surprising. Sometimes even involving students from local schools, or even members of an unsuspecting audience.

The Harmonic Resonators have achieved local internet stardom through their old-school, jam-session style videos of classic waiata and heartfelt originals. With lush harmonies, soaring yodels, and beaming personalities, they put on a show enjoyed by young and old alike. Laugh, sing, dance, clap, and resonate with your new favourite band.

Both groups are in demand, performing at Festivals around the country. Tapping into the heartland of kiwi-culture a concert combining these two groups promises to have audiences singing-along, laughing out loud and tapping their toes. This will be great family entertainment, so gather the whanau and get along to one of their combined concerts.

Adventure Entertainment is taking Finke: There and Back on the road, and rides full throttle to Albany

This is the Finke Desert Race and it is a religion.

For the riders, the spectators and the town of Alice Springs, the Finke Desert Race is more than a race. Finke: There and Back delves below the surface to uncover what makes them tick, what drives them to put their lives on the line when they strap their helmets on. Paraplegic Isaac Elliott is attempting to complete the race that he started a decade earlier. Scruff Hamill, who lives in a shed full of bikes in Sydney, makes the trip to tick off a bucket list event. Meanwhile, the factory race teams at the head of the field fight for pride and to be named ‘King of the Desert’.

In this series of live stage events, the filmmakers and riders hit the stage together to describe in detail why this event is the most-loved race in the country, and why this film is such an important film to watch for anyone who loves motorsports.

Watch the trailer here.

Don’t miss your chance to watch Finke Desert Race, one of the most difficult off-road courses in one of the most remote places in the world.

In “United States of Joe’s” climbers collide with a conservative coal mining community in rural Utah, to surprising results.
