What is your favourite weekend brunch place to visit?
Ooh! Tough question as Dunedin has so many great cafes, but my fav would probably have to be Precinct in Vogel St.
What are your favourite weekend activities?
Rallying. And if I can’t be doing that its catching up with friends, or getting outdoors. I love mountain biking or walking / running.
What is your favourite part of the weekend?
The mornings that I’m not working and I don’t have to set an alarm.
What is your favourite weekend night spot?
I’m not much of a night owl, but enjoy many Dunedin restaurants. Prohibition Smokehouse would have to be my favorite.
What is your favourite weekend getaway destination you have visited?
I love Wanaka and Central Otago. Such a beautiful spot so close to home.
Why did you get into the Motorsport world?
I was lucky enough to grow up around cars with my Dad being a talented mechanic and car builder. I always enjoyed driving and had my first taste of Motorsport competing as a co-driver for my sister and cousin and then driving in local grass auto crosses. When I finally had a go on gravel myself – I was well and truly hooked.
What is something that gave you joy this week?
Lovely feedback from our customers at Gilmour Motors Suzuki.
Who inspires you?
Women excelling in their chosen fields.
Share three of your favourite attributes of your home town with us?
The people, the scenery & the restaurant / café scene.
Do you have a hidden talent?
I can make a tea towel look like a frozen chicken?
At heart are you a city or country person?
What would you like to learn if you had the chance?
Your favourite teacher and why?
Mr Cleland at St Leonards primary school. He was my year 5&6 teacher and was always so encouraging & positive. He really taught us to excel in what we were good at.
Where is your favourite place in the entire world?
In the drivers seat of a rally car.
If you could change one law, what would it be?
I’m with Hayden Paddon’s earlier suggestion – Illegal for slow traffic to drive in right lane on motorways
